i find it so interesting that your fave was Guzma and now it’s Hassel; they’re both so different! what are qualities you like in both? :0

thank you for such a fun question! i usually end up liking either villains or loser nerd type characters so hassel is kind of different for what usually attracts me…

hmm… both are somewhat intimidating characters who have their silly moments. (hassel is of course famously a sweetheart but at least i was intimidated by him the first time i met him!) and if you know the term “gap moe”, that applies to both too… it’s wonderful when a character appears strong (battle-wise in this case) or even scary and then you find out about their cute/silly traits and the character just becomes cute overall.

also it’s not a particular thing i “like” but it’s funny how both ran away from their dads when they were young LOL. both have interesting backstories and struggles and their own way of dealing with them…

advice i think we should tell children is that when adults say stuff like ‘now that i’m an adult i get really excited about stuff like coffee tables and bathrooms and rugs etc’ they don’t mean ‘and now i don’t care about blorbo and squimbus from my childhood tv shows anymore’ bc your average adult still loves all the same pop culture stuff they always did; they just have a greater appreciation for the mundane as well. growing up just means you can enjoy life twice as much now. you can get really excited about a new stuffed animal AND about a new kitchen sponge. peace and love
